Oh, hello there! I’m Lady, and I’ve been waiting for you to hear my story. Let me give you a glimpse into my world, filled with love, adventure, and a whole lot of tail wagging!

I’m pretty chill with a good mix of the right energy.  With a little bit of cheese and coaxing, I am up for anything. I love a belly rub or cuddle session after some play time.

I’m still getting the hang of this whole leash walking thing, but hey, practice makes pawfect, right? Short walks and playtime in the yard with Yogi keep me feeling spry and ready to take on the world!

Now, when it comes to furry friends, I’m learning the ropes. With a bit of socialization, I know I’ll be a great pal to all pups! And those cool cats? We get along just fine—they’re like the purrfect roommates!

Strangers? they’re just friends I haven’t met yet! I’m a trusting soul who loves spreading love to everyone I meet.  I’m a quick learner and adapt to new environments like a champ.  Kids? They’re my favorite! Gentle and sweet, just like me.

Now, let’s talk about my quirks. I’m a bit of a toy hoarder, but I’m learning to share. And those jealous moments? Well, I just want all the love for myself—can you blame me?

Oh, and did I mention I’m always wagging my tail? It’s like my own personal happiness meter!

So, what kind of home am I dreaming of? One filled with affectionate humans, cuddles galore, and maybe another furry friend to keep me company. A large breed pal like me would be the cherry on top!

If you’re ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless tail wags, then look no further—I’m right here, waiting for you with open paws and a heart full of love! Let’s make some memories together, shall we?

Lady came to hart with a face full of porcupine quills and a very significant infection. She underwent surgery to remove the visible quills and has since gone in for 2 more surgical procedures to extract more quills. Because of the advanced state of her infection upon arrival, Lady has also gone through multiple rounds of antibiotics and drains for abscesses. It has been quite the process for Lady to heal but the whole time she kept showing us signs of the happy dog that she is. Adoptive parents for Lady need to be aware that while she has undergone surgeries for the removal of quills, they can continue to migrate and erupt for up to a year. Lady is up to date on DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.

Lady is adjusting well to the city life.  She knows how to sit and is working on other basic commands.   Lady is also working on leash training.  Lady is a friendly girl and enjoys dog company after slow introductions.  Lady did show a bit of resource guarding when she moved into her home but with conditioning she has done well.
